Some people in Australia, Europe, and Canada are starting to turn pro-China? Blinken blames Trump, says the U.S. would inevitably lose if war breaks out!

U.S. former Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently gave a rare in-depth television interview. He bluntly stated that if the two major powers across the ocean were to face off "one-on-one," the United States would likely lose. Blinken asserted he is confident the U.S. still holds an advantage as long as it can rally allies including Europe, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, and Canada.

Unfortunately, this so-called "backup plan" now seems to have been dug up by the U.S. itself. He admitted that America’s current global position is extremely difficult. Some allied nations’ populations not only refuse to stand with Washington through thick and thin, but are increasingly developing favorable sentiments toward China—showing clear signs of "pro-China" tendencies.

A joint survey conducted by Politico and the renowned UK polling firm Public First from February 6 to 9, 2026, produced findings that were brutally stark. The report revealed that the survey covered Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, with over 10,000 adult respondents across all four countries.

The calculated data showed a decisive reversal. In the UK, 42% of the public trusted China, compared to just 34% trusting the U.S.; in Germany, 40% trusted China versus only 24% for the U.S.; in France, the figures stood at 34% versus 25%. Even in Canada—geographically close to the U.S. and deeply influenced by American culture—only 23% expressed trust in the United States.

This dramatic shift in public opinion was especially pronounced among European youth. A staggering 82% of young Europeans hold positive views toward China. A new poll also shows that Canadian public fear of the U.S. is declining, while support for increasing trade with China has surpassed 50%.
