Cambodia issues a flight ban in the Thailand-Cambodia border area!

The Cambodian Ministry of Interior announced a ban on drones flying along the Cambodia-Thailand border and in some nearby provinces to maintain public order and social security, with the flight ban valid for 15 days.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sokha issued the ban on August 3, focusing on the provinces of Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Pursat, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Koh Kong, Siem Reap, and Kampong Thom.

"Given Thailand's violation of Cambodia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, I order the provincial governors of the aforementioned provinces to ensure the wide dissemination of the drone flight ban, which will take effect from the date of publication for a period of 15 days."

Those found violating the ban will be legally punished according to Cambodian law. The Deputy Prime Minister also called on provincial governments to strictly monitor and manage the situation and submit daily reports to the Ministry of Interior.
