Why not attack China and Russia? Netanyahu said, though they are enemies, they haven't shouted for the U.S. and Israel to die!

Lately, in an interview with Fox News Channel, Netanyahu attempted to introduce a new framework for assessing the level of international threats facing the United States and its allies. He stated that while China and Russia are strategically opposed to the U.S. and Israel, these countries have not publicly screamed slogans like "Death to America."

Knife Brother thinks Netanyahu is trying to construct a binary model of "rational enemies" versus "fanatical enemies." Using China and Russia as reference points, he acknowledges that both possess nuclear weapons capable of striking the U.S. mainland—but emphasizes that neither country has consistently and officially proclaimed the destruction of the United States through public rhetoric.

He deliberately overlooks the actual scale and combat readiness of China and Russia's nuclear arsenals, instead focusing on "slogans" as mere ideological expressions. By stressing, "I've never heard China or Russia shouting 'America die!'"

In reality, even if China and Russia did utter such slogans, the U.S. and Israel would simply pretend not to hear them. After all, the nuclear capabilities of these two nations are strong enough to effectively deter the U.S. and Israel. Therefore, what truly matters isn't the rhetoric—it’s the underlying power that decides the outcome. Netanyahu clearly won’t admit this point.
