U.S. Releases "UFO" Files, Netizens Say: Either Aliens or Chinese

On June 14, the Japanese version of Space Channel reprinted the third batch of declassified UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) reports from the U.S. government.

Among them was a report from October 2023 near a highly classified national security facility in western America, describing a strange glowing object sighting.

The documents include witness testimonies stating that a large orange spherical light appeared, seemingly emitting multiple smaller red lights. The file categorizes this event as "sphere launching sphere" or "large sphere releasing small spheres."

In addition, the materials contain digitally reconstructed images and conceptual illustrations based on eyewitness accounts. The red-orange lights floating above mountainous terrain visually depict the eerie scene at the time.

The witnesses were special investigators from a U.S. federal law enforcement agency. In October 2023, several teams operating in the western mountain areas noticed unusual glimmers in the sky after sunset. According to testimony, a bright orange spherical light first appeared—unlike ordinary stars or airplane lights, this glow seemed to gradually intensify.

Then, three to four smaller red lights appeared within or around the orange glow. These red lights were described as moving steadily, forming a horizontal formation. Another account likened the red lights to “grapes falling out of a basketball”—a rather unique metaphor, but one that clearly distinguished their movement from that of typical aircraft or drones.

The document not only compiles the “launching sphere” case but also reports multiple related incidents from the same region.

One such case involved a massive burning sphere—a “fireball.” Witnesses described a huge orange glow hovering near the Rocky Mountain ridge. Although distance and size were difficult to determine, post-incident calculations suggest it may have been about 1,000 meters away from the observers.

Additionally, another witness reported seeing a “dark kite”—an object shaped like a black kite. At first, it looked like a car driving on a road, but when it approached, it veered off the road and slid sideways into the desert without any shaking or dust being kicked up.

There were also reports of a “semi-transparent kite,” referring to an object with a kite-like shape that appeared partially transparent. Witnesses said they could faintly see distant stars and the mountain skyline through the object. It should be noted that many of the images released are not actual photographs but digital recreations based on witness statements.

The U.S. government document explicitly states that conceptual diagrams and reconstructed images are intended for illustrative purposes only and cannot accurately represent distances, spatial relationships, or object sizes.

Therefore, it is premature to draw conclusions solely based on these images—they should be regarded as visual representations of witness testimonies.

On the other hand, what drew attention to this case was that multiple federal agents reported similar patterns of light movements originating from different locations. Multiple testimonies describe an orange “mother sphere” appearing and emitting a cluster of small red lights that moved in formation.

Naturally, this has not been confirmed as extraterrestrial in origin. Other possibilities include drones, aircraft, flares, military training exercises, optical phenomena, or even visual illusions caused by observation conditions.

FBI agents personally visited the site for on-site observation.

According to the records, investigators observed a pulsating white light across a pond. In another scenario, they witnessed a glowing object that appeared to have a bright white light above red illumination. This light floated near tree level, rapidly moving from right to left before vanishing and then returning to its original position, repeating the same motion.

Subsequent on-site investigation found no unusual objects in the vicinity where the anomalous activity was observed. Due to high tree density, it was assessed that if human-operated drones or small aircraft had flown there at night, the risk of colliding with branches would be very high.

Naturally, this does not prove the object is alien-related. Numerous other explanations remain possible, including aircraft, drones, ground-based lights, reflections, or natural phenomena.

Some space enthusiasts, analyzing the released images, believe the likelihood of extraterrestrial craft is high. Others suspect: “China possesses many technologies unknown to the U.S.; if we rule out aliens, the Chinese are the most likely suspects.”
