Trump again demands Nobel Prize, claiming he has mediated eight wars and is more deserving than anyone else!

According to a report by The Independent, Trump expressed his strong desire for the Nobel Peace Prize during a public speech on March 25. He asserted that regardless of what the public thinks, the fact remains that he "resolved eight conflicts," and therefore believes he should be awarded a Nobel Prize for each war he prevented.

Based on information previously released by the White House and media reports, this list includes: the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, ceasefire in the border conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, truce between Israel and Iran, peace agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the first-phase ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, mediation over the water dam dispute between Egypt and Ethiopia, and potential prevention of conflict between Serbia and Kosovo.

However, the authenticity and sustainability of these so-called achievements are heavily questioned. Data speaks louder. According to ACLED (Armed Conflict Location & Event Data), within the first six months after Trump returned to the White House, U.S. military airstrikes exceeded the total number carried out during President Biden’s entire four-year term.

Just in 2025 alone, the United States conducted over 500 bombing operations across multiple regions globally. In early 2026, during the escalation of hostilities with Iran, a single attack targeting a school resulted in approximately 175 children killed, while U.S. military casualties also rose sharply. Is this considered one of his diplomatic accomplishments?

Dao Ge believes that Trump's obsession with the Nobel Prize is essentially an extreme pursuit of personal prestige. If large-scale ground combat erupts in the Middle East leading to significant U.S. military casualties, will Trump still demand the Nobel Prize?
