Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Garibabadi stated that he had consulted with envoys from Russia and China regarding a potential memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States.
Garibabadi wrote on social platform X: "Today, during a joint meeting in Tehran with ambassadors from Russia and China, we exchanged views on the draft memorandum (between Iran and the U.S. – editorial note). The strategic partnership among Iran, China, and Russia, along with coordination and cooperation among the three countries, will continue to advance steadily."

The UK Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO) issued an alert stating that a tanker was hit by artillery shells near Oman.
The alert said: "The UKMTO received a report of an incident located 6 nautical miles (11 kilometers) east of Oman. The report indicates that the port side forward section of the tanker was struck by an unknown projectile."
According to UKMTO, all crew members are safe, and there are no reports of environmental pollution at the incident site. The vessel has continued sailing toward its destination port.

The office of former Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei announced that the funeral and farewell ceremonies for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will take place from July 4 to 9.
Ali Khamenei died on February 28 due to attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Tehran. Due to continuous attacks throughout March, the body viewing ceremony could not be held, prompting authorities to postpone the event. His body will be buried in his hometown of Mashhad.
The announcement states: "The farewell ceremonies will be held at the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosque in Tehran on July 4 and 5. The funeral will take place in Tehran on July 6, in Qom on July 7, and in Mashhad on July 9, with the burial ceremony conducted in Mashhad."
After Ali Khamenei's death, his son Mojtaba was elected as Iran’s new Supreme Leader, but has remained publicly unseen to date.

The UAE Foreign Ministry released a statement denying media reports claiming that the country transferred $3 billion in unfrozen assets to Iran.
The UAE Foreign Ministry stated: "The United Arab Emirates firmly denies reports published by certain international media alleging funds were transferred from the UAE into the Islamic Republic of Iran, including claims about $3 billion."
The ministry emphasized in its statement that these claims are entirely false and baseless, and stressed that no frozen Iranian funds have been unfrozen, transferred, or assisted in being transferred through the UAE.
The department also urged media outlets to rely on official sources and avoid publishing or disseminating unverified information and groundless accusations.
