May 25, reported by TASS, Governor of Belgorod Oblast Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that an explosion was triggered by an explosive device planted under the railway tracks when a freight train passed through the region. There were no casualties in the explosion.

According to the information released by Gladkov on his Telegram channel: "Preliminary investigations show that the train ran over the explosive device planted under the tracks, causing an explosion. The overhead contact line was damaged and train operations have been temporarily suspended." Currently, emergency response departments are handling the situation on-site, and further details are still being verified.
