Zheng Liwen's Mainland Visit Delegation List Revealed

Su Qi, Creator of the "1992 Consensus," Included in Delegation

On the 7th, Kuomintang (KMT) Chairperson Zheng Liwen launched her "2026 Peace Journey" to the mainland. The delegation includes senior KMT officials and experts from various sectors, such as Vice Chairpersons and Secretary-General Li Qianlong, Zhang Ronggong, Xiao Xucen, Deputy Chairman of the think tank Li Hongyuan, Chairman of the Central Review Committee Yuan Jiansheng, and Su Qi, former National Security Advisor of Taiwan who originally proposed the "1992 Consensus."

According to sources, the KMT has today released the full list of accompanying personnel, including Special Advisor to the KMT Chairperson Li Dewei, Chairperson of the Cultural Communication Committee Yin Naijing, Director of the Mainland Affairs Department Zhang Yaping, Chairperson of the Youth Affairs Development Committee Lian Shengwu, Spokesperson Jiang Yizhen, Director of International Affairs Dong Jiayu, and Advisory Council Member Lei Hongyi.

Notably, Su Qi is joining this delegation. In 2024, Su Qi himself stated that the "1992 Consensus" was originally just a political symbol—emerging when the timing was right and disappearing when it wasn’t—essentially a "take it or leave it" approach.
