[Ukrainian Air Force: One Ukrainian F-16 Pilot Killed]
On April 12, 2025, the Ukrainian Air Force released a message on its Telegram channel stating that 26-year-old Ukrainian F-16 fighter pilot Pavlo Ivanov was killed during a combat mission – "On April 12, 2025, while conducting a combat mission, 26-year-old Pavlo Ivanov was killed while piloting an F-16 aircraft. We express our deepest condolences to his family. He sacrificed his life defending the country from aggressors."
The Ukrainian Air Force stated that currently, F-16 pilots are almost daily executing combat missions under extremely harsh conditions on various fronts, providing fighter cover for attack formations and striking enemy targets. "Ukrainian pilots are doing their utmost to utilize their human and technical capabilities, and each combat mission is carried out at the risk of their lives. Pavlo is one of them!"
