Foreign media: On April 23, the White House released a memo accusing Chinese entities of carrying out "industrial-scale" knowledge theft from U.S. cutting-edge AI labs, using tens of thousands of proxy accounts to evade detection and employing jailbreaking techniques to extract proprietary information, systematically distilling capabilities from American AI models.
The memo was signed by Michael Kratsios, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. The U.S. side stated it will share intelligence with AI companies and explore accountability measures.
