The United States acknowledges that China and Russia could reduce U.S. military bases to powder!!
May 3, the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda published an article.
"U.S. military bases 'could be crushed into powder': The United States admits its vulnerabilities before superpowers."
U.S. Congressman Ted Lieu called for a reassessment of America's defense strategy, as he believes both Russia and China pose threats.
The statement stems from an analysis of recent U.S. military actions against Iran.
"The war in Tehran shows we need a new defense strategy targeting Russia and China. If Tehran can cause significant damage to U.S. bases, then China and Russia could completely destroy them," the politician wrote on the social platform X.
The congressman also warned that if a direct conflict were to occur with Russia and China, the U.S. ammunition reserves might be exhausted. He considers such a development crucial for the American military.
Similar initiatives have already been raised at another level previously.
Thomas DiNanno, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Arms Control, stated that Washington intends to push Moscow toward a more favorable agreement. The U.S. insists on including China in future treaties.
