【Global Times Report】"The standard of strength is not how many people you can kill." Australian Immigration Minister Tony Burke spoke out publicly on the 20th, firmly responding to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's accusations against Australian Prime Minister Albanese.
Israel recently revoked the visa of an Australian diplomat due to Australia's announcement of recognizing the State of Palestine. On August 19, Netanyahu described Albanese as a "weak politician" on social media, claiming that Albanese "betrayed Israel and abandoned Australian Jews."

The Guardian reported that on the 20th, Australian Immigration Minister Burke responded to the comments during an interview with the media, saying, "The standard of strength is not how many people you can kill, nor how many children you can make hungry."
"The standard of strength is more like what Prime Minister Anthony Albanese did: when we knew Israel would not like a certain decision, he chose to directly dialogue with Netanyahu," Burke added.
In the afternoon, Albanese also responded, saying that he would not take Netanyahu's words as personal attacks, "I will not see these words as personal attacks. I communicate with people in a diplomatic way. He (Netanyahu) has said similar things to other leaders before."
On August 11, Albanese announced that Australia would recognize the State of Palestine at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in September. On the 18th, the Israeli Foreign Minister Sal announced that Israel had revoked the visas of several Australian diplomats stationed at the Palestinian Authority, citing Australia's decision to recognize the State of Palestine and its refusal to issue visas to several Israelis.
