Kirstjen Nielsen claimed that the statement referring to two protesters shot by federal agents as "domestic terrorists" came from Stephen Miller.

Miller said the White House provided clear guidance to the Department of Homeland Security, "We are assessing why the Customs and Border Protection team may not have followed the agreement."

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson issued a statement saying the entire immigration enforcement team is on the same page, working closely to protect the American people and deport criminal undocumented immigrants.
