The Syrian Kurdish forces and HTS have reached an important agreement involving key areas of Aleppo city.

April 2nd, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali reported that despite the fact that the Syrian Kurdish armed forces announced their refusal to recognize the new Syrian government established by HTS, both sides still signed an important agreement to solve the problem of Aleppo City yesterday. The details are as follows:

1. The Kurdish armed forces agreed to withdraw their regular army from the two Kurdish-populated neighborhoods they currently control in the north of Aleppo City, namely Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh, leaving behind so-called "Internal Security Forces" to jointly control these two areas with the Interior Ministry of the HTS government.

2. Armed parades will be prohibited in the above two neighborhoods in the future, all remaining weapons will be managed by the Interior Ministry of the HTS government, checkpoints will be managed by the Internal Security Forces, all existing roadblocks will be dismantled, and safety centers and regional committees will be established in these two areas respectively.

3. The HTS government promised to respect the national culture and living habits of local Kurds, ensure the freedom of movement for local residents, and treat them equally in public services (Chourani's promise...).

4. The Kurdish armed forces promised to retreat with weapons from nearby areas to the eastern bank of the Euphrates River (so does this include several points across the river in Manbij region?).

5. A coordination committee will be established to promote travel and passage between Aleppo City and northern and eastern regions of Syria (Kurdish armed forces controlled areas).

6. Both sides promised to release all captured prisoners of the other side in Aleppo Province.

7. Residents of the above two neighborhoods should have full and fair representation in the Aleppo Provincial Council as well as chambers of commerce, industry, and other sectors, retain their existing public services, administrative and educational institutions, municipalities, and local councils until a sustainable solution is reached.
