US President Vetoed China's SuiRui Technology Acquisition of US Jupiter Systems!

The US Federal Register shows that the US President blocked the acquisition of the US company Jupiter Systems, a world-leading provider of network multi-screen display platforms and display wall controllers, by the Chinese company SuiRui Technology, stating that the transaction threatens US security. The two companies had reached a deal in 2020.

"There is credible evidence that after acquiring Jupiter Systems, SuiRui Technology may take actions that endanger US national security. SuiRui Technology should not own any shares of Jupiter Systems and is obligated to cease participation in its equity within 120 days."

The US Department of Treasury stated that Jupiter Systems' products are used by the US military and for critical infrastructure in the US.

Jupiter Systems is headquartered in Delaware, producing specialized displays that allow systems to project images onto multiple monitors as well as software. These devices are mainly used in command and control stations.
