Chengyang Airport Express Line Suspects Arrested

On February 26, Tokyo police announced that a Chinese man named Long Yongjun was arrested for repeatedly stealing from foreign passengers on the express train between Narita International Airport and the Tokyo city area.

The suspect, a 58-year-old Chinese man named Long Yongjun, is accused of stealing 100,000 yen in cash and four bank cards from the backpack of a 40-year-old male tourist from Taiwan on a train departing from Terminal 2 of Narita Airport to Tokyo Station in January. Long Yongjun used the four stolen bank cards to illegally purchase cameras, luxury bags, watches, and other items worth millions of yen at the same department store.

The police said Long Yongjun denied the charges, saying, "I didn't do it."

Since 2025, there have been repeated cases of foreign travelers' luggage, items, and cash being stolen on the Narita International Airport Express Line. The police are investigating the connection between these cases.
