Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that Iran has not engaged in any negotiations with the United States, and that false news is being used to manipulate markets.

Previously, Israel's national public broadcasting company Kan reported that Israeli sources believe the United States is currently negotiating with Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf.

In a post on the social platform X, the Speaker said: "There have been no negotiations with the United States. False news is being used to manipulate financial and oil markets and attempt to pull the U.S. and Israel out of their deepening quagmire."
