Vice President Vance stated that the U.S. delegation has not reached any agreement with Iran and is preparing to depart for home.

After the talks in Islamabad, Vance told reporters: "We were unable to reach an agreement, and we are now heading back to the United States."

Vance said Iran decided not to accept the terms proposed by the United States.

"They (the Iranian side) have decided not to accept our terms," he said.
