Iranian President: America's Aggressive Actions Against Iran Should Be Retaliated
In a phone call with French leader Macron on Sunday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the United States must be retaliated for attacking Iran's nuclear facilities.
"The United States has attacked us. What would you do in such a situation? Of course, they must be retaliated for their aggression," said Pezeshkian.
The Iranian president's press office announced that French President told Pezeshkian that Paris "is ready" to make efforts to stop the Middle East conflict and pointed out that Paris is willing to continue dialogue with Tehran.
On Sunday night, the United States launched strikes on three nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordo, and Isfahan, Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the strike aims to restrict Iran's nuclear capabilities. If Tehran does not agree to "end this war," Iran will face more severe consequences.
