The Iranian President Pezeshkian said Tehran is willing to seek a way out of the conflict with the US and Israel
Iranian media: Iranian aerospace facility in the northwest attacked by the US and Israel
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran has the necessary willingness to seek a resolution to the conflict with the US and Israel, but the condition ensuring that no further aggression will be carried out must be respected.
Pezeshkian pointed out: "Normalization of the situation lies in halting aggressive attacks. We will never seek tension or war at any time; we have the necessary willingness to end the conflict, but only under conditions that include the essential guarantee that no further acts of aggression will occur."
Pezeshkian made these remarks during a phone call with European Council President António Costa regarding the situation in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz region.
Pezeshkian also stated that the repeated attacks on Iran during negotiations indicate that the United States is only interested in forcing others to accept its terms, rather than seeking diplomatic solutions.
The Iranian president further warned all parties against involvement in the conflict, stating that such actions would lead to dangerous consequences.
Fars News Agency cited local authorities reporting that an aerospace facility in northwestern Iran was attacked by the United States and Israel, resulting in property damage but no casualties.
Fars News Agency reported: "The Sarmas research satellite station in Sar-e Pol Zahab County was struck by hostile forces from the US and Israel. This satellite station, recently put into operation for managing and receiving satellite data, was targeted."
The agency noted that parts of the satellite facility located in West Azerbaijan Province were damaged, though the attack caused no loss of life.
