Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn visits soldiers injured by a landmine!

At 9:30 a.m. on July 18, Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Paetongtarn and Defense Minister Nattapong visited the hospital to see the reconnaissance soldiers injured by a landmine.

Paetongtarn stated that the government would not allow any incident to further affect the morale of staff, and requested assistance for the mother of the injured soldier. Paetongtarn presented flower baskets to the three soldiers and thanked them for their contributions to the country.

Paetongtarn later posted on X: "Today, I was assigned by the cabinet to visit Saprasit Prasong Camp Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani with the Deputy Minister of Defense to see and encourage the three soldiers injured in the landmine incident, and to provide essential supplies to the local troops."

"I sincerely encourage the three soldiers. They bravely fulfilled their duties and made sacrifices. The Thai people must commend their exemplary behavior. They have the support of their families and are proud of serving their country. For the people, every soldier has made sacrifices for the country. We also know that the Ministry of Defense is conducting an emergency investigation and clearing mines in the area. It is important that we take comprehensive remedial measures for those affected."
