Russia Announces the Establishment of a Buffer Security Zone to Counter the Military Threat from Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry wrote today (May 23): "President Putin said that a buffer security zone will be established at the Russian border. Our armed forces are currently working on this matter."

Putin decided to establish a security buffer zone in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions adjacent to Ukraine.
