With the rumble of the annual "Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" approaching, Toronto's streets will soon be filled with dapper crowds.

The "Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" has been going strong for ten years, challenging the stereotype of motorcyclists in leather jackets by appearing in "bowtie" style to support the "November" (Movember) campaign. This weekend, the "Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" will not only take place in Toronto but also in cities around the world.

Every year, dozens to hundreds of motorcycle riders dressed in their finest take to the streets, adding joy to spring. At the same time, some participating cities use this opportunity to raise funds for the world-leading men's health charity "November" (Movember).

In the past decade, Canada's ride events have raised $3.3 million to support local men's health projects, researching important issues such as prostate cancer and mental health, and over the years, these events have captured some incredible photos.

In Toronto, it all kicks off on Sunday, May 18th and you won't want to miss it.

At 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, riders will dress up and gather at Cherry Street BBQ before setting off at 9:30 a.m. The group will then gather at Humber Bay Park Rd. E. at 10:00 a.m., at The Prince's Gate at 11:00 a.m., and return to Cherry Street BBQ at noon to end the ride.

This year, it is expected that more than 200 riders will participate, promising an exciting event.

For the Movember event in 2025, Canada will be one of 120 countries, where hundreds of formally dressed riders will march on the streets on May 18th.

Toronto's ride event is one of 33 fundraising rides worldwide for Movember.

You can find a complete list of all participating cities and rides on the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride website.
