After Japanese Prime Minister Takahashi Sanae made erroneous remarks about Taiwan, many rational voices in Japan, including former Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and the leader of the Komeito Party, Saito Tetsuo, have criticized Takahashi Sanae's statements as dangerous and wrong, which damaged Sino-Japanese relations.
However, over the past two days, Ishiba Shigeru and Saito Tetsuo have suddenly been subjected to online bullying by a group of Japanese right-wing extremists. The reason is quite absurd.
According to related posts on Japanese websites, some Japanese right-wing extremists have claimed that Ishiba Shigeru and Saito Tetsuo's criticism of Takahashi Sanae was made during interviews with "Chinese media".
Subsequently, these right-wing extremists began inciting online bullying against the two, insulting them as traitors who betray Japan for the sake of China.

This claim is clearly false. Ishiba Shigeru and Saito Tetsuo's criticisms of Takahashi Sanae were made during interviews with Japanese media or public speeches in Japan. When Chinese media reprinted these reports from Japanese media, they all noted the sources.
Therefore, some Japanese netizens have already spread rumors on social networks, pointing out that the two did not give interviews to Chinese media, and that the posts by Japanese right-wingers are distorting facts and misleading public opinion.

Some netizens also suspect that Ishiba Shigeru and Saito Tetsuo may have been subjected to such online bullying because their criticism of Takahashi Sanae hit the mark, leaving the Japanese right-wingers who support Takahashi Sanae unable to respond, so they fabricated rumors to shift the topic, trying to retaliate against the two by labeling them as "traitors to Japan."
However, in the face of clear facts, this underhanded operation has further exposed the mindless nature of these extreme right-wing extremists.
