Media: The last of South Korea's five spy satellites successfully entered orbit

Russian Satellite Communications Agency, Seoul, November 02 - According to Yonhap News Agency citing South Korean Defense Ministry sources, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket has successfully placed South Korea's fifth spy satellite into orbit.

Yonhap News Agency reported: "SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket has successfully placed South Korea's fifth spy satellite into orbit."

This satellite, equipped with synthetic aperture radar, was launched from the U.S. Space Force base in Cape Canaveral, Florida on November 02.

This is the last military satellite in South Korea's plan to deploy five satellites, aimed at more effectively monitoring North Korea and reducing South Korea's reliance on U.S. satellite imagery.
