Tsinghua University ranked first overall with a score of 93.0, followed by Peking University with 92.9 points. Next are the National University of Singapore (91.3 points), Nanyang Technological University (85.4 points), the University of Tokyo (84.8 points), and the University of Hong Kong (83.6 points). Fudan University (82.3 points) and Zhejiang University (81.2 points) from China moved up one place compared to last year, ranking seventh and eighth respectively, while Shanghai Jiao Tong University (80.8 points) dropped three places to rank tenth. Among South Korean universities, Seoul National University ranked 15th with 77.7 points, and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) ranked 17th with 75.5 points. Sungkyunkwan University and Yonsei University both scored 72.1 points and tied for 19th place. Seoul National University dropped one place compared to last year, while Yonsei University dropped two places, continuing its third consecutive year of declining rankings. On the other hand, KAIST rose one place compared to last year, and Sungkyunkwan University moved up three places from 22nd to 19th. South Korean universities received high scores in research quality and industry-academic cooperation. The research quality scores of universities such as Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei University, and Sungkyunkwan University all exceeded 70 points. Among them, Sejong University received 93.5 points, the highest evaluation among major universities. In the field of industry-academic cooperation, except for Sejong University (83.2 points), most universities scored over 99 points. Seoul National University, KAIST, and Pohang University of Science and Technology received full marks (100 points), followed by Sungkyunkwan University (99.5 points), Yonsei University (99.9 points), Korea University (99.8 points), Hanyang University (99.5 points), and Kyung Hee University (99.9 points). On the other hand, the scores in research environment and educational environment remained between 40-70 points, slightly inferior compared to Chinese universities. There was also some stagnation in the area of internationalization. The scores of Seoul National University (44.9 points), KAIST (45.7 points), Yonsei University (47.2 points), POSTECH (43.0 points), and KAIST (41.6 points) were all around 40 points.
