[By Observer Net, Xiong Chaoran] After more than ten days of mutual attacks between Israel and Iran, there have been constant reports of so-called "ceasefire." Amid the confusion, both Israel and Iran have put forward conditions, but they are still bombing each other.
According to a late-night report by CNN on June 23 local time, Iranian state media, the Islamic Republic News Network (IRINN), announced on June 24 local time that after a military response to "American aggression," Iran "has imposed a ceasefire on the enemy" (has imposed ceasefire on the enemy).
A news anchor said live: "The successful missile operation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responded to American aggression, demonstrating the firmness and unity of our beloved people in defending the country, and forcing the enemy to ceasefire."
CNN also cited the report from this Iranian media, stating that shortly after Iran attacked the U.S. airbase in Al-Udeid, Qatar, President Trump "urged Iran and Israel to ceasefire in a begging-like manner."
The news anchor said: "Last night, just one hour after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps successfully launched a missile attack on the U.S. base in Al-Udeid, Qatar, Trump urged the start of ceasefire in a begging-like manner, ending the war imposed on our country by the Zionist enemy."

At around 1:00 a.m. on June 24 Eastern Time, Trump continued to post on his self-created social media platform "Truth Social" using all capital letters, writing: "A ceasefire agreement is now in effect. Please do not violate it! Donald J. Trump, President of the United States!"
Previously, on the evening of June 23 local time, the Iranian armed forces issued a statement announcing a missile strike on the U.S. airbase in Al-Udeid, Qatar. The statement said this action was a response to the U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, approved by the Supreme National Security Council, and carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Iranian armed forces stated that they had launched "devastating and powerful" missiles toward the U.S. airbase in Qatar.
Later that evening, President Trump posted on social media that a "completely and thoroughly" ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran would take effect, involving two 12-hour ceasefires, with Iran initiating the first 12-hour ceasefire and Israel following with the second 12-hour ceasefire, after which the war would be officially declared over within 24 hours.
"During the ceasefire, both sides must maintain peace and respect. Assuming everything proceeds as planned (which of course it will), I want to congratulate Israel and Iran for ending a war that could have lasted years and destroyed the entire Middle East! This did not happen, and it will never happen!" Trump wrote.
At the same time Trump posted, a huge explosion occurred in the northeastern area of Tehran, and after the ceasefire announcement, explosions were heard multiple times in Tehran.
On June 24 local time, the Middle East mainstream media Al-Arabiya TV reported that Iran and Israel announced a ceasefire. The Iranian state television also reported on the same day that Iran had ceased fire against Israel.
A White House official said that Israel agreed to a ceasefire, provided that Iran stopped attacking.
Iran's Foreign Minister Zarif said that no agreement has been reached yet regarding a ceasefire or the cessation of military actions, but if Israel stops attacking first, Iran "has no intention to continue our response."
However, Zarif later posted a message thanking the Iranian armed forces and stated that the "punishment for Israel's military actions continued until the last moment." CNN believes that Zarif's post suggests that the war may have already ended.
