Hague International Court of Justice rejects the appeal for temporary release by former President Duterte!
The International Court of Justice Appellate Chamber rejected the appeal filed by former Philippine President Duterte, who had previously been denied a request for temporary release by the Pre-Trial Chamber. Hoffman, the defense lawyer of former President Duterte, therefore submitted an appeal to the Appellate Chamber.
"The Appellate Chamber dismissed all the arguments presented by the defense and unanimously confirmed the controversial decision of the Pre-Trial Chamber."
Former President Duterte did not attend the Appellate Chamber's judgment reading in person or via video.
