Sputnik, Almaty, November 30 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has protested against another targeted attack on the key infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

According to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, at 09:06 Beijing Time on November 29, 2025, a targeted terrorist attack using an unmanned vessel occurred in the waters of its sea terminal. The attack caused serious damage to the second extension mooring facility, which is no longer operational.

The statement said: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan protests against another targeted attack on the critical infrastructure of the International Caspian Pipeline Consortium in the waters of Novorossiysk port."

The statement pointed out that this incident is the third aggression against this purely civilian facility, and its operation is protected by international law.

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry stated: "As a responsible participant in the global energy market, Kazakhstan has always been committed to maintaining the stability and continuity of energy supply. It must be emphasized that the Caspian Pipeline Consortium plays an important role in maintaining the stability of the global energy system."

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium is responsible for transporting oil from three major oil fields in Kazakhstan.
