"Artificial Sun" research accelerates!
China launches an international scientific program in the field of fusion
On November 24, the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially launched the "Burn Plasma International Scientific Program" in Hefei, Anhui, and also released the global research plan for the compact fusion energy experimental device BEST.

Fusion energy simulates the fusion reaction of the sun to release energy, and is known as the "ultimate energy" of humanity. In recent years, China's nuclear fusion research has accelerated, breaking world records multiple times. The BEST device, as China's next-generation "Artificial Sun," carries the mission of "burning."

According to the research plan, after the completion of the device by the end of 2027, it will conduct multiple experimental studies to verify its long-pulse steady-state operation capability.
One step closer to building a house on the moon!
The first "lunar soil bricks" complete space experiment
After a year of exposure outside the cabin, the first batch of "lunar soil bricks" used for lunar surface construction research have successfully returned to Earth with the Shenzhou 21 spacecraft. Researchers conducted opening detection and confirmed that the first batch of "lunar soil bricks" were in good condition.

The returned R5 sample unit consists of 34 "lunar soil bricks," weighing approximately 100 grams, having endured extreme environmental conditions such as space radiation and large temperature differences over a year.
First emergency launch
Shenzhou 22 spacecraft launch was successfully completed
At Beijing Time on November 25, 2025, the Long March 2F Y22 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 22 spacecraft was ignited at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. After entering orbit, the spacecraft successfully completed its status settings and successfully docked with the Tianhe core module's forward port.

The Shenzhou 22 spacecraft was in an unmanned state, carrying space food, space medicine, fresh fruits and vegetables, a device for dealing with the window crack of the Shenzhou 20 spacecraft, and spare parts needed for the space station.
This mission was the 38th launch task of the Chinese Manned Space Program since its establishment and the 610th flight of the Long March series carrier rockets, as well as the first emergency launch task of the Chinese Manned Space Program.
Asia's largest cabin capacity
China's super large suction dredger completes sea trials successfully
On November 25, China's independently designed and built new generation of super large suction dredger "Tongxun" completed all sea trial projects in the Yellow Sea of China and is now ready for formal use.

Dredgers, also known as silt removal ships, are major equipment for underwater infrastructure such as port dredging, channel excavation, and land reclamation.

The "Tongxun" dredger has a maximum cargo capacity of 38,168 cubic meters, ranking first in Asia in terms of cargo capacity.
World's first aerosol-meteorology coupled forecast
Artificial intelligence model goes into trial operation
Recently, the world's first artificial intelligence model for aerosol-meteorology coupled forecasting completed business access testing at the Lanzhou Arid Meteorological Research Institute and was put into trial operation. This model can update sandstorm forecasts with a resolution of 5 kilometers twice a day, providing more accurate local sandstorm forecasts.

The world's first aerosol-meteorology coupled forecasting artificial intelligence model independently developed by China can complete high-precision global environmental meteorological forecasts for the next 5 days, covering 54 key parameters, in less than one minute.
