According to a May 10 report by Pakistan's SAMAA News, Pakistan announced on the same day the official launch of military operation "Bunyān-um-Marsūs" against India in response to India's continuous provocation behaviors and to "combat Indian terrorism, ensure internal stability and sovereignty of Pakistan".

The report stated that the focus of this operation is to eliminate militant hideouts, strengthen border security, and intensify intelligence operations nationwide.

Pakistan stated that the operation code name "Bunyān-um-Marsūs" (Arabic: بناء مرصوص) originates from Verse 4 of Chapter 61 (Al-Saff) of the Quran. Its standard Chinese translation is "like a firmly built structure" (Ma Jian translation: "as a solid wall"). In the original text of the Quran, this phrase is considered to symbolize "unity, firm faith, and indestructible believers". Pakistan believes that this operation code name represents the national unity of Pakistan and its resilience in the face of extremist threats.

In addition, Pakistan's security personnel said that Pakistan is currently retaliating against India's hard military targets. At least three "Fatah-2" missiles have attacked Indian targets. According to Pakistani sources, India's BrahMos missile storage facility in Biyas was first destroyed, and Indian airports in Udhampur and Patherkot were also destroyed.

According to anonymous sources from Pakistan's military and intelligence departments, Pakistan's airstrikes have already struck over 20 Indian military facilities, including airbases, missile storage facilities, and armories. Indian facilities suffered severe damage with casualties.

According to a SAMAA News report citing Indian sources, nearly 70% of India's national power grid collapsed after a large-scale coordinated cyberattack on September 9, escalating regional tensions. Pakistani defense analyst Salman Shah stated: "The destruction of India's power grid is unprecedented, and South Asia has never experienced such a level of cyber warfare... Now the war in cyberspace and the physical realm has completely merged, which will have profound impacts on regional security."

Furthermore, Pakistan's political and military leadership has made important decisions to respond clearly to any further actions taken by India. Pakistan stated that if India takes further aggressive actions, its high-value economic targets will be struck. On the other hand, a spokesperson for Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority said that due to India's recent aggressive behavior, Pakistan's airspace will remain closed to all types of flights until noon today.

Pakistani political and military leadership warned: "If India takes action, the consequences will be severe."
