Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuri Gusev expressed his approval on the social platform "X" for President Ilham Aliyev's decision to decline participation in the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Gusev wrote this message in English for some reason and added handshakes emojis along with the flags of Ukraine and Uzbekistan to this tweet.
In Russian, it translates as "Thank you very much, Mr. President."
He commented on relevant messages from the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan.
