Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s son, Sandro, is preparing to be investigated in the flood control project case!

House Majority Leader Sandro told the Independent Infrastructure Commission that he is prepared to undergo an investigation after being accused by former House Appropriations Committee Chair Zaldy of inserting budget items and receiving substantial kickbacks.

Zaldy claimed that Sandro inserted projects worth 51 billion pesos across three budget cycles from 2023 to 2025.

In a letter to the chair of the investigative committee, Reyes, Sandro said he has complete respect for the committee's work and the efforts it is making to uncover the truth behind the ongoing flood control project investigation.

"Let me unhesitatingly make it clear: I am willing to attend committee meetings at any time, and I am happy to have the opportunity to clarify any issues that may assist your review. I am always ready to cooperate, answer questions, and provide any necessary clarifications to advance the investigation."

Sandro reiterated that, given he has nothing to hide, he is willing to be investigated: "No one can be above the law, regardless of their position and status."
