Foreign media: China has made its first overseas display of a scaled-down model of its latest fifth-generation fighter, the J-35A, at the Paris Air Show. This variant, the land-based version of the J-35, is developed by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and made its debut at the Zhuhai Airshow last November. It is China's second fifth-generation aircraft after the J-20.
Although the J-20 is banned from export, it was also exhibited in the area. The J-35 was initially designed as a carrier-based aircraft, while the J-35A is tailored for the Chinese Air Force, with its first flight taking place in September 2023.
Despite Europe's reluctance to purchase Chinese aircraft due to concerns over U.S. stance, sales of Chinese aircraft are steadily rising in developing countries such as the Middle East and South Asia.
