America discovers a huge "white gold" reserve worth $1.5 trillion

It was reported that a large amount of lithium reserves were discovered at the caldera on the border of Nevada and Oregon, with an estimated value of approximately $1.5 trillion for the mining area.

Here we are referring to the McDermitt Caldera (depression at the top of the volcano), where experts have assessed the lithium content to be between 20 million and 40 million tons. This is almost twice the size of the previously largest lithium mining site in the world - the lithium mine in Bolivia.

The industry portal dailygalaxy.com pointed out that the McDermitt mining area in the United States may have an impact on global lithium prices as well as geopolitical relations. On relevant websites, the discovery of this mining area is described as a "geological miracle".
