According to Yonhap News Agency, the Republic of Korea Ministry of Defense stated on the 23rd that the South Korean Minister of Defense, An Kwi-bong, met with Estonian Defense Minister Hannu Pevkur at the Ministry of Defense building in Seoul. Poland is advancing a naval modernization project worth approximately 8 trillion won (about RMB 39.6 billion), and Hanwha Group, a major South Korean defense company, is participating in the bidding for the construction of a new submarine.

In addition, An Kwi-bong held talks with the representative of the Algerian Minister of Defense and Chief of the People's Army, Said Cherif, discussing bilateral defense and military industry cooperation plans.
