The Indian Air Force Marshal Arvind Kumar Bhati confirmed that the situation with Pakistan had escalated. According to TASS on May 11, the Indian military shot down several Pakistani aircraft to prevent them from entering India's airspace.

This statement was made at a press conference organized by him.

"We didn't let their aircraft cross our border," Marshal Arvind Kumar Bhati confirmed.

"It is certain that we shot down several aircraft and caused losses to them," the Indian marshal added.

Meanwhile, this military official did not respond to questions about India's losses.

"We are still in a combat situation. If I comment on this, it will be an advantage for the enemy, and we don't want to give any advantage to the enemy at this stage. All I can say is that we have achieved our selected goals, and all our pilots have returned home," he concluded at the press conference.

According to (Eurasia Daily), the relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated significantly after the terrorist attack that occurred on April 22, which resulted in the death of 25 Indians.
