NVIDIA's Taiwan headquarters is rumored to be located in the Shilin Technology Park in Taipei.
Huang Renxun arrived in Taiwan on Friday to prepare for his participation in COMPUTEX 2025, and the public is paying attention to the location of NVIDIA's Taiwan headquarters which Huang Renxun is expected to announce at a press conference on the 21st. Latest information indicates that NVIDIA may choose the T17 and T18 bases in Beitou Shilin Technology Park (North士科) in Taipei City, and is currently negotiating with Shinkong Life Insurance, the landowner. However, NVIDIA has not yet officially confirmed this message.
The total area of the T17 and T18 bases is approximately 3.89 hectares, featuring advantages such as metro transportation, power supply, and proximity to the city center, which also aligns with Huang Renxun's idea of having employees work in Taipei City.
According to local media reports, NVIDIA and Shinkong Life Insurance have already had initial contact last year, assisted by a capable intermediary. Construction fences have been erected around the T17 and T18 sites, with signs reading "AI Riverside Smart Park," showcasing the smart park positioning. The nearby T16 is the headquarters of Kinpo Group, an important partner of NVIDIA, forming a distinct industrial cluster advantage.
Although locations in New Taipei and Taoyuan were also considered, if we take into account transportation, land, and electricity conditions, the North士科 plan is the most feasible. This move is not only an important milestone in NVIDIA's deepened investment in Taiwan but will also bring international attention to Taipei City.
