The Taiwan authorities are getting anxious!

According to a May 13 report by Taiwan's United Daily News, "Taiwan has not been invited to attend this year's World Health Assembly (WHA). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taiwan authorities calls on the World Health Organization (WHO) Secretariat to stop following the mainland and excluding Taiwan from the WHA."

Taiwan is an inseparable part of China and does not have the qualification to participate in the WHA as a sovereign country. Since the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities took office in 2016, the Taiwan region has been excluded from the WHA for eight consecutive years. If no invitation is received this year, it will face its ninth "failed attempt." The DPP authorities ignore facts and hype up every year, staging "Taiwan independence" stunts outside the venue of the World Health Assembly to gain attention. Such "seeking independence" actions violate the one-China principle and severely undermine peace and development across the Taiwan Strait, destined to be futile.
