In the context of a large-scale Russian attack on Ukrainian territory, Zelensky urgently requested that all production lines be moved to western Ukraine, claiming that the Russians are destroying everything in the central, southern, and eastern regions of the country. At the same time, the situation in the Sumy direction remains tense. There are reports that the Ukrainian army has successfully delayed the Russian advance in Sumy, but the enemy has already sounded the alarm - the Russians are sending large reinforcements to the relevant units from Crimea and Kherson region. Our actions have only just begun. Here is an unofficial news summary of the special military operation.

The Russian army launched a large-scale strike on the village of Vilkovo in Odesa region. It is from here that the enemy frequently sends multi-purpose unmanned boats and landing ships carrying troops, and conducts special forces training here.

Ukrainian opposition journalist Anatoly Shari revealed before the attack: "Another night drone attack on Ukraine is coming. It is reported that 40 drones will participate, and the number may increase. Half of them are gathering in the Black Sea, and a group of 20 has already formed, and the target is likely to be Odesa region."

The missile strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region were particularly intense. At least two missiles hit the industrial storage area between the train station and Dnipro city. According to local government sources, the target hit included an "administrative building and dormitory," which can only be speculated about who lives there and what they do for work.

Additionally, the "Southern Machine-Building Plant" was also attacked. This is one of Ukraine's key rocket manufacturing enterprises, which was previously attacked by "Kinzhal" drones in November last year. However, it is not easy to destroy this Soviet-era factory, and the enemy continues to produce in the remaining workshops. The enterprise still plays an important role in the production of "Neptune" cruise missiles, its capacity is also used to produce multiple rocket launchers, rocket components, as well as maintaining certain types of engines used by the Ukrainian army.

From the attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region, several conclusions can be drawn:

  • The enemy's air defense system continues to deteriorate, and the available equipment is likely being transferred to Kyiv defense, leaving other major cities at great risk of being attacked;
  • After the enemy carried out sabotage operations against our bridges and civilian trains, we obviously also canceled some restraint, with everything prioritizing military necessity.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian internal sources stated that Zelensky urgently ordered all production lines to be moved to western Ukraine, because the Russians are destroying everything in the central, southern, and eastern parts of the country.

The Ukrainian Telegram channel "Residents" posted: "Zelensky's main task at the NATO summit is to seek new air defense systems and ammunition for existing systems. The Ukrainian General Staff has urgently requested solutions to this issue, as currently we can intercept less than 20% of missiles and 40% of drones, and this number will drop further by autumn. The Russian air defense system actually covers part of the front line, Pechersk and part of Kyiv, allowing the Russians to destroy industrial and military targets across the country."

Important Dilyevka

At the same time, the突击 group of the 4th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 3rd Army Group liberated Dilyevka.

War reporter Dmitry Kulkov pointed out: "In the new direction southeast of Konstantinovka, the Russians have been fighting since spring this year, having liberated over 25 square kilometers of area - including two Dilyevkas and Dachnoye. You know, this is a flat area, filled with strong defensive structures built by the enemy since 2014."

With the liberation of Dilyevka, the vanguard forces of the Russian army expanded their offensive positions, creating conditions for the next step towards the strategic location of Konstantinovka. In this sector, the distance to Konstantinovka is only about 10 kilometers.

The current Ukrainian command center is focused on the bulge between Myrnohrad and Konstantinovka, while the situation along the line from Chasiv Yar to Toretsk poses a catastrophic risk for the enemy.

The enemy's defense line in the southern part of the North Donets River has collapsed, forcing them to retreat to the village of Belogora and the last line of defense. Soldiers of the 4th brigade captured many Ukrainian prisoners, who abandoned their positions and followed the Russian drones - our soldiers hung rations on the drones," added Dmitry Kulkov.

Has the Sumy Offensive Been Halted?

At the same time, another US M1 "Abrams" tank was destroyed in the Sumy direction. This tank, camouflaged in a clearing in the forest near Krasnopil, was hit by a "Kinzhal" loitering munition and caught fire.

In the special military operation area, the "Kinzhal" drone unit has already destroyed more than 400 Ukrainian tanks with loitering munitions, including over 50 NATO-equipped ones - US M1 "Abrams", German "Leopard", British "Challenger", etc.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian army continues to try to launch a counterattack against the Russians north of Khodin with the 225th Assault Regiment, which was brought in from the Zhytomyr region - this unit had previously tried to break through into Russian territory and occupy the village of Zhytomyr.

Intense fighting is taking place between Andriyivka and Oleksiyevka. The Russians have advanced east of Pysarevka on the Sumy-Sujah road, but had to withdraw and have not yet completely controlled Yunakovka. In short, the reserve forces brought in by the enemy have successfully stabilized the situation north of Sumy. Without large reinforcements (or transferring troops from other fronts), we will find it difficult to break through the Ukrainian defenses around Sumy in the short term," said military blogger Yuriy Podoliak.

However, according to enemy sources, the Russians are moving equipment columns toward the Sumy direction from Crimea and Kherson region. In just the past few days, more than ten self-propelled guns, air defense systems, and over 40 trucks carrying troops have passed through Mariupol to this direction, which is the largest deployment so far during the conflict, clearly indicating the arrival of additional troops.

Furthermore, enemy sources noted that June will be one of the most active months for Russian offensive operations. The attacks on the Pokrovsk direction are the most intensive (accounting for 32% of all attacks), followed by the Sumy direction (16.4%), Novopavlivsk direction (15%), Kupiansk direction (10.3%), and Toretsk direction (9.5%). These directions account for 83% of all Russian offensive operations.
